Caroline started dancing at the age of 7 at the Ransley Ballet & Dance Centre on the Gold Coast. In 1991 she was awarded the Paul Wright Scholarship to train at the Australian Ballet School for the 3 year Diploma course. Whilst at the ABS she won many awards and performed as a soloist in The Dancers Company and West Australian Ballet. In 1995 she travelled to the UK to work as a professional ballet dancer. There she worked with Scottish Ballet and Northern Ballet Theatre, climbing to the rank of soloist. In 2002 Caroline returned to Australia and took a position at Dance North in Townsville.  Retiring from professional dancing in 2005 she became a registered teacher through the Royal Academy of Dance and holds a professional dancers teaching diploma. Caroline also holds an Advanced Teaching Certificate in Ballet through the Australasian Dance Association.  Caroline has taught classical ballet at Townsville Academy of Performing Arts, Marque Talent Studio and as a guest teacher at RAD seminars. Her extensive knowledge of ballet technique and training makes her an excellent asset to have as a member of our school.
